Job Description
Position Overview:
Responsibility of a Wait Staff includes giving the Guests warm welcomes, assisting them with menu selections, serving foods and beverages, and other multi-tasking fronts of house duties assigned by the Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and escort the guests to their table;
- Present the menu and provide detailed information (if asked);
- Perform sales task by presenting the day’s special, up-selling foods and beverages;
- Carefully take foods and beverages orders and clearly repeat the orders to the Guests;
- Prepare appropriate cutlery for the courses;
- Insert orders into POS system;
- Be ready at all time to serve the Guests;
- Check the Guests’ satisfaction with the quality of foods, drinks, and the service according to Restaurant’s standards;
- Arrange table settings and maintain a clean and tidy working area at all time;
- Deliver bill and collect payment;
- Ensure excellent service to the Guests from start to finish;
- Follow all sanitary and safety regulations;
- Perform tasks as assigned by direct Managers.
Job Requirements
- Have a good service mindset;
- Good communication skills;
- Team spirit;
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment;
- Flexible working time ( 1 morning shift 10:30am - 4:30pm + 1 evening shift 5pm - 11pm)
- Good communicative English.
- Age: 22-26 years old
