Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Food and Beverage Training Manager to join the Food and Beverage team in Group and Corporate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Drive compliance in the business unit with the HR processes related to training and development to ensure that the business unit is applying training processes and standards in a way that is consistent and adopting best practice wherever identified.
  • Complete an annual learning and development needs analysis to ensure that the training needs are identified.
  • Produce an annual, quarterly and monthly training plan for staff to ensure that identified learning and development needs are met in a structured and systematic manner.
  • Work in collaboration with headhunt team
  • Develop training sessions that satisfy identified operational needs.
  • Complete post training evaluation on training delivered in the business to ensure that training is effective and meets the training objectives for the program.
  • Complete an annual evaluation of training to evaluate the execution of the Learning and Development plan and ensure the plan was effective and met the needs of the business.
  • Regularly meet, coach, support and motivate trainers to ensure they are supported in meeting the on-the-job training requirements of their departments.
  • Carry out effective training on a range of subjects depending upon business needs using appropriate interventions, with a focus on Hospitality knowledge and standards. 
  • Communicate information about training events in a timely and professional manner to ensure that the business is kept up to date about training and development activities.
  • Maintain training records and files.
  • Facilitate English training as required.
  • Monitor the use of all training materials to ensure they comply with company standards (i.e.: training handouts, presentation, etc.)
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Management/ HR management/ Admin or related field.
  • Task and Group Trainer Qualification, or equivalent.
  • On the job training experience in an operational department
  • Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in the same position.
  • Knowledge in Hospitality
  • Fluent in English
