Sous Chef

We are looking for an experimented Sous-Chef who has a good understanding of Southeast Asian cuisine. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for excellence and new challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and arrange the work schedule for the kitchen based on the restaurant's operating schedule. Assign and coordinate work for shift leaders and kitchen staff
• Coordinate with the head chef and manager to supervise all activities of the kitchen department, ensuring that the standards of the restaurant are met.
• Receive the special order requests of diners and implement the processing in the fastest time.
• Coordinating with the head chef and related positions to create new menus, menu promotions for the restaurant, attractive to customers.
• Support the head chef to set up the quantity, recipe of the dish, image, and price of the dish used on the menu.
• Support the head chef in planning to recruit staff for the operation of the kitchen department.
• Coordinate training plan, assign work to new employees
• Manage kitchen equipment.
• Regularly check the storage of raw ingredients, the quality of ingredients used for food processing.
• Coordinating the handling of food related incidents of restaurants.
• Participate in training and professional development courses.
• Attend meetings of the department, of the restaurant.
• Make assigned work reports.
• Perform other tasks when requested by superiors.

Working hours: Split shift, 8-10h/ shift
