We are looking for a Sous Chef. Ideal candidate is a seasoned chef with a strong background in Fine Dining / Gourmet European Cuisine. Proven ability in running and managing all kitchen operations in 5-star hotels, high-end restaurants/resorts. Consistently looking to improve the menu, produce quality food, and work closely with business owners in the overall F&B operations.
Responsibilities
Participate in the drafting of concept ideas and menus
Supervise the kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items
Monitor standards of production to ensure quality, supervise all aspects of kitchen
cleanliness and co-ordinate the effective utilization of all chefs
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored, with all breakage's and
breakdowns being properly reported and recorded
Have 10 years experience in European/Western food
3 year culinary university degree
Minimum of 5+ years experience as Sous Chef
Good communication skills - English and Vietnamese
Startup mentality to build a new business
Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
Salary – 25-27M per month, for the right candidate
