Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Manager who can assist the General Manager with managing the service and focus on providing wow guest hospitality while being friendly, attentive to details, respectful of all staff and on cost management.

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the good quality of the restaurant service and be responsible for it.
  • Ensure all team members understand, adhere and share company value. 
  • Assist managers with work schedules, payroll, and staff training duties.
  • Ensure all team members convey the correct company’s brand identity.
  • Ensure all team members understand, adhere and share company value. 
  • Collect all the maintenance needs from all locations and provide support in fixing them.
  • Keep track of the company needs and assist General Manager in printing the menus when necessary.
  • Train staff on team grooming following the company grooming standards.
  • Assist the General Manager in preparing the orientation and the induction program standards for new staff.
  • Spend the first week of every new staff with them to ensure they are suitable to work in the company.
  • Assist the General Manager in preparing the training programs and ensure training of the staff.
  • Report immediately all important issues concerning staff, customers, authorities and safety matters to the General Manager.
  • Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office.
  • Adopt a hospitable attitude at all times according to the company spirit.
  • Help the General Manager when necessary.
  • Assist in the interview process by translating to Vietnamese when necessary.
  • Assist in ordering equipment and utilities. 
  • Be available to work when asked (if a staff is sick/absent/off).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Restaurant Management or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager or a similar position.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of F&B and hospitality. 
  • Understanding and knowledge of Customer Relationship Management Software. 
  • Excellent communications and management skills.
  • A result-driven and organized individual. 
  • Good oral and written communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools. 
  • Outstanding management skills. 
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills. 
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
