Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to second the restaurant manager. 

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the daily operation of the restaurant
  • In charge of the restaurant and bar during the restaurant manager absence to ensure the perfect operation of the service and daily duties as well as an outstanding customer service.
  • Training associates to the highest standard of service and assess performance
  • Ensuring that all sequences of service are followed, opening and closing checklist done
  • Assisting the restaurant manager in the creation of wine list and cocktail menu
  • Controlling operational cost and wastage
  • Ensure that the front of house remain in good and safe condition for guests and staff
  • Responsible of stock management/inventory
  • Supervising and controlling management of linen and breakage
  • Responsible for end-of-day report and cash-up
  • Coordinating front and back of house operation
  • Interacting and creating relation with customers
  • Collecting feedback and handling complaint
  • Keep a positive and professional approach with customers and co-workers

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as assistant restaurant manager in similar establishment
  • Bachelor degree in hospitality
  • Passion for hospitality
  • Minimum WSET level 1 in wine
  • Good knowledges in health and safety standards
  • Computer skills (office 365, RMS, POS)
  • Good English speaking and writing
  • Flexible working time depending on business level
