Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to second the restaurant manager.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the daily operation of the restaurant
- In charge of the restaurant and bar during the restaurant manager absence to ensure the perfect operation of the service and daily duties as well as an outstanding customer service.
- Training associates to the highest standard of service and assess performance
- Ensuring that all sequences of service are followed, opening and closing checklist done
- Assisting the restaurant manager in the creation of wine list and cocktail menu
- Controlling operational cost and wastage
- Ensure that the front of house remain in good and safe condition for guests and staff
- Responsible of stock management/inventory
- Supervising and controlling management of linen and breakage
- Responsible for end-of-day report and cash-up
- Coordinating front and back of house operation
- Interacting and creating relation with customers
- Collecting feedback and handling complaint
- Keep a positive and professional approach with customers and co-workers
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as assistant restaurant manager in similar establishment
- Bachelor degree in hospitality
- Passion for hospitality
- Minimum WSET level 1 in wine
- Good knowledges in health and safety standards
- Computer skills (office 365, RMS, POS)
- Good English speaking and writing
- Flexible working time depending on business level
